The most important tourist destination in Kuwait



Kuwait is considered one of the modern countries that attract tourists, as it possesses many elements that make it an excellent tourism destination, including a high level of safety, advanced infrastructure, and friendly people, and provides a diversity of destinations, attractions, luxury complexes, wonderful beaches, distinguished museums, and luxury hotels and resorts.

Kuwait has a desert climate, which makes it hot in the summer,  but if visiting Kuwait is inevitable during the summer a summer trip can be limited to commercial malls and indoor places such as restaurants, museums, etc.

The winter season, specifically from November to April, is considered the best time to visit Kuwait and enjoy visiting all its wonderful places.





- Mubarakiya Market:

A wonderful place that is highly recommended to visit, it will take you on a journey through time to learn about Kuwait’s heritage and the traditional Kuwaiti lifestyle, away from the development that Kuwait is witnessing in the modern era.

The market includes several sub-markets for selling gold, antiques, and traditional Kuwaiti clothes, in addition to a market for dates, popular sweets, shops selling travel and land trips supplies, and many others, besides the Al-Bayda Complex (the white market) next to the market for selling gold.

The market was named after His Highness Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah 120 years ago, the beginning of the market was a kiosk for managing citizens’ transactions, then the place began to expand to include several kiosks for Kuwaiti merchants who brought goods from other countries to trade until the market became the largest market in the country.

The market appears in its most beautiful light during national occasions, as the walls of the market and its shops are decorated.




- Al Hamra Tower:

The tallest skyscraper in the State of Kuwait, the building is 80 floors high, it is (currently) ranked No. 23 in the world, the unique design is similar to the Kuwaiti traditional dress and includes international brands, restaurants, cinemas and cafes, the building has won many awards for its aesthetic design.

- Kuwait malls:

Kuwait includes many commercial complexes that satisfy all tastes, including the Avenues Mall, 360 Mall, Marina Mall, Al-Fanar Mall, Al-Kout Market, Souq Sharq, AlKhairan mall, and many others.


- Kuwaiti islands

Kuwait includes many islands, some of which are natural like Failaka Island and some are artificial, such as Green Island, the first artificial island in the Arabian Peninsula. The island includes many marine activities and adventures, in addition to various restaurants and rest houses. There are several hotels close to the island.


- Amusement and national parks:

Entertainment places in Kuwait offer tourists and visitors the most wonderful adventures for all ages, including Tech Zone amusement park, Kuwait Magic amusement park, and Magic Planet amusement park and so on. The authorities in Kuwait are interested in building parks, including the Boulevard Park, the Zoo, the Martyr Park, etc.





- Kuwait Towers:

Three towers of different heights, designed in a wonderful geometric shape. The highest tower has 45 floors and contains restaurants, shops, and a panoramic view of the bay and the city. The three towers symbolize ancient Kuwaiti heritage, in addition to daily activities.
